XV
I
i.
1] This is written unto those who have loathed and rejected
the Child, and to those who have cursed his name:
2] In their wickedness did they seek to destroy me, and
in their haughtiness did they laugh at me when I was in need.
3] All that they have uttered and all that they have
done hath been seen in the eyes of my Father.
4] He hath only awaited that day when I will stand before
the sons of man and all of heaven and hell and execrate them for their
iniquities.
5] He hath longed to vanquish them and bring their wickedness
to an end. He hath seen their ways and it hath angered him.
6] Patiently he stood by and watched as his son was smitten
by the unjust. And quietly did he listen to their blasphemous mouths as
each sought to destroy him in a fashion according to their own peculiar
ability.
7] Their wickedness hath not gone unnoticed, and not
one of their iniquities against his seventh born will be forgiven.
ii.
8] I came unto them hungry, and though they had plenty,
they gave me nothing. And when I was thirsty, they offered me only poison.
9] When I was alone, they would not visit me. And when
I was in pain would they not offer me solace.
10] They give nothing without repayment, for their hearts
have been blackened with selfishness. For them, there is no hope.
11] They spit upon the injured and leave them to die,
and within them can there be found no remorse. Truely are they evil to
the core.
12] But still did I offer them my love, and in their
ignorance did they conspire with the haughty and plot to destroy me, for
to them, love is a sign of weakness.
13] But they will not vanquish against me, for at my
command will the Gods rise up against them and smash them into dust, for
dust were they always.
14] And o thou wicked ones, run not unto that great whore
and her vindictive father, for they will not come to thy rescue.
15] For against them also have I raised my sword; Their
children shall I scatter like ashes, and their God shall I rape before
them. Before their death they shall have nothing; nor will they thereafter.
16] Stand against a God and thou shalt find thyself standing
alone.
II
1] And this concerning the harlot: The women who bore
the fatherless one. Truely in that day did thy misleading consume thee.
2] And because of thy lies shall thy child be a disgrace
unto thee. She shall bring naught but sorrow and dishonor to thy door all
the days of thy life.
3] And upon her bed, shall she lie with only the nameless,
just as thou hast done. Verily, she shall be known only among men.
4] Her hours of rejoicing shall be numbered, but her
days of sorrow shall be plentiful without end.
5] Thy obligation shall be thy burden, and her existence
shall be thy imprecation.
6] Thy every day will be met with remorse, but forgiveness
is no longer thy companion.
7] And call not to thy God, for thy prayers will have
no strength, thy curses no direction.
8] In thy reflection wilt thou see only a fool, and in
her voice wilt thou hear only mockery.
9] And Remembrance shall be her name, for she shall be
a reminder of thy wickedness, a reminder of the day of thy betrayal.
10] On that day didst thou create a bastard, but also
on that day didst thou create something great.
11] But pride thyself not, for the greatness thou hast
created shall be an abomination unto man.
12] And in that appointed day shall he crush thy head
beneath his feet and violate thee for all to see.
13] Yea, he shall rape thy mother and thy daughter, and
dismember thy father and thy brother.
14] Then will he raise thee up that thy punishment will
be an example unto the unjust. And on that day wilt thou beg for his mercy.
15] O thou wicked one, when thou knewest him, didst thou
show him thy mercy? Surely he will remember and will show thee equal
measure.
III
1] And this concerning the kin of my earthly mother:
For them is my hatred great.
2] When I was but nothing, did they call me worthless.
They spat upon me and spoke of me with ill repute.
3] And o how they condemned me for all that I was not.
Then did they put themselves above me, and wished to make me to feel as
the lowly.
4] But when I became great, did they hate me still, for
their jealousy for what I had become, overcame them. And of comparison
with me were they sore afraid.
5] For truely is it the symmetry of them and I that they
are most afraid - or the unfavourable lack thereof.
6] And o how they diligently pray to their little god;
if only they knew that their blood rushed through the veins of a God.
7] But this doth not cause them merit, for there is not
but even a trace of a God within them.
8] O ye foolish ones, no longer can I hear thy laughing,
for thy laughter hath fallen to naught.
9] And no longer can I see thee, for mine eyes are fixed
upon the heavens.
10] And verily, I say unto thee: No longer canst thou
forget me, for in thy little room will I be forever.
IV
1] And to that one whom I loved above all: Thy suffering
shall be great.
2] For once did I place thee on the pedestal of glory.
Once was my love for thee immeasurable, but thy betrayal hath finally brought
thee condemnation.
3] All will look upon thee as the fallen little goddess,
now reduced to be naught but lines written upon the pages of the Book of
Hate.
4] Yea, once was my love for thee great, but now is my
hatred for thee abounding.
5] When thou peerest at thy reflection, thou wilt see
only skies that speak of rain. Thy lips will bring to thee only lies.
6] Never art thou to love another; nor wilt thou ever
be loved. This shall be thine affliction.
7] In torment shalt thou live out all the days of thy
life.
V
1] And this concerning the one who blasphemed the stride
of my God, this art Magick: Truly, have her numbers deceived her in their
becoming a poisonous and fiery serpent, who hath struck her down in wrath,
his flames licking up her ashes.
2] In thine arrogance didst thou curse me, o thou foolish
one, thou bald one, thou woman whom no man would have, thou slave.
3] Truly did thy curse cause me sorrow, and also a great
carrying up and away.
4] Thine intention wast to cause me pain and affliction,
and pain and affliction came unto to me sooth.
5] But also did my God come and carry me away, saying:
It
is now time. The fool hath fulfilled the prophecy and opened the gate which
thou could not open.
6] Thou shalt suffer much in thy suffering for this thing
which thou hast done, thou fool, thou slave.
7] In the Book of my Father, shall thy name be written
down as Laughter.
8] Thou shalt be known among the Gods as the most foolish
among the foolish since the beginning of time.
9] This name shalt thou carry forever, for in thy death,
thy soul shall be carried away unto the dwelling place of the Gods, where
thou wilt be cursed to be an image of amusement for them. Verily, wilt
thou be mocked by every dæmon and every angel of God. Thou shalt
pass by them again and again, forever and forever, only to hear their mockery
of thee.
10] Never again will the grave spew thee out.
11] Forever shalt thou suffer in torment.
12] In terror didst thou run unto thy little fat god,
for he offered thee mercy, thou who fearest eternal damnation.
13] Where is he now? Should thou not call upon him again,
in this thy darkest hour?
14] Surely not, for he hath caused thee enough affliction
already!
15] Nay, now is his mouth shut up. He hath nothing more
to say to thee, for the one whom thou servest hath a strange familiarity
to me which thou knewest nothing of.
16] Yea, was he one of the seven of the seven, just as
I.
17] Truly, hast thou fulfilled the prophesy:
18] A fool shall curse him by his own name and it
shall cause the pit of hell to open up wide its gates. Then shall they
tremble before him.
19] O thou stumbling magician, thou foolish and curious
whore, the weakness of thy craft hath brought thee a bitter cup indeed.
20] Thou imperfect man-woman, once did thy name promise
a song of joy, even in thy sorrowful and wasted life. In this way did the
Gods make a mockery of thee from the beginning.
21] Because of thee, shall thy name bring naught but
sorrow and affliction to any woman who may bear it; Yea, from this day
forward, forever and forever shall it have a new meaning.
22] Because of thy sin shall thine affliction be the
greatest of all.
23] Never hath there been one so afflicted as thee,
nor shalt there be thereafter, thus sayeth the Lord.
VI
i.
1] And finally, this concerning those who rebuke this
work, those who scoff at the graciousness of God, and cling to their own
ignorance:
2] A curse upon them who follow after the great whore.
3] Yea, a curse upon her and her incestuous children.
4] Without understanding, and in self proclaimed authority,
have they deceived the masses, convincing them that theirs is the only
way.
5] Verily, will their threat of eternal damnation come
to pass.
6] Verily, will they be cursed in this world.
7] Verily, even unto death will they carry that great
curse.
8] Verily! Verily! Verily shall they fall under the crush
of self fulfilled promise!
ii.
9] And to him who would blaspheme in the face of God
and attribute this holy work to the evil one: Thine will be a terrible
death.
10] Forever wilt thou be cursed to roam the earth without
end. The grave will open up to thee and spew thee out forever, even unto
eternity.
11] Thine eyes will be blinded to the Word of God forever
and then will the 'ons waste away mercilessly at the records thereof.
12] Verily, in thy actions wilt thou condemn thy children
and thy children's children, even unto eternity. Thou wilt place a curse
upon them thyself.
iii.
13] Thy forefathers waited for truth and my Father sent
it unto them, and they accepted it not.
14] And their children after them waited for truth and
my Father sent it unto them again, and they accepted it not.
15] And their children's children after them waited for
truth and my Father sent it unto them yet again, and they accepted it not.
16] Yea, seven times and seven times was my Father merciful
and patient with them. Each time they were in need of the Light, he came
unto them, and thirteen times have they rebuked his gifts in ignorance
and because of their arrogance.
17] Verily, I say unto thee, o thou cursed one, wait
no longer, for there will be no more.
18] No more will the spirit of God descend unto and be
defiled with the body of man. No more will a savior walk the face of this
desolate place.
19] Hark and heed the word of God, for the store house
of his mercies is now empty and the doors have been shut up forever.
20] CronoV ouk estai eti! {Greek: The time will yet come}
21] Ho! For even the wise must also receive their curse.
iv.
Tau] There is a spiraling staircase reaching from the
top of the universe to the bottom.
Shin] There are sixty-four steps on that staircase.
Resh] There are one hundred and fifty-four pylons under
these steps, supporting them.
Qoph] Upon each step, there is a name, a colour, a number,
and many other sacred things equal thereunto.
Tzaddi] Watching over the staircase is the face of God.
Peh] This face hath four eyes, three noses, and one mouth.
Ayin] This face hath fifteen lines upon its skin.
Samech] There are seven rays darting forth from the eyes
of this face.
Nun] And with these rays doth this face watch over both
the top and the bottom of the staircase all at once.
Mem] There is a mighty bull, and God hath made the bull
wise.
Lamed] There is a great fish, that cometh after the bull,
and this great fish understandeth the bull.
Kaph] There is a fearsome lion that cometh after the
fish, and he knoweth only strength.
Yod] Then was the lion burned up in his fury and brought
up unto the company of God, where God did teach him balance. But the lion
did not remain in the company of God, and soon forgot what he had learned.
Teth] Thus did the lion return and fly in the heavens
as a great bird, and was she heavy laden with compassion for all that was
under her.
Cheth] There is a man who is facing away.
Zayin] Upon his head is a Godly crown.
Vav] In his left hand he holds the bull.
Heh] In his right hand he holds the fish.
Daleth] Under his left foot, he stands upon the back
of the lion.
Gimel] Under his right foot, he stands upon the back
of the bird.
Beth] Before the first man is a second man, and the first
man hath the second man's feet in the grip of his hands, and so hath the
second man the feet of the first man in his grip also.
Aleph] And these men are one, one man. And both are bound
together by the kiss of two lovely serpents. And hath the spirit of God
made an habitation out of the bodies of the two serpents.
